Co-Development Business Unit is looking for a Software Quality Engineer

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 1 year.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own the testing strategy, automated regression testing, API testing, functional testing, UAT support and release quality assurance for the cloud-based digital platform.

• The role is automation-first and is responsible for ensuring workflows, processes, logic, dashboards, access controls and integrations are tested continuously throughout Agile delivery.
• Test Strategy: Prepare test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data and regression test packs.
• Automation Testing: Build and maintain automated regression test suites for critical user journeys.
• UAT Support: Prepare UAT test scenarios, support business users during UAT and verify production readiness.
• Release Support: Conduct regression testing, smoke testing and release validation before deployment.

• Experience: At least 3-4 years of QA experience, with strong hands-on automation testing experience.
• QA Framework Setup: Hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end QA automation frameworks, integrating automated testing tools with CI/CD pipelines test reporting platforms, and automated quality gates.
• Automation Tools: Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• API Testing: Strong experience with Postman, Newman, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Test Design: Ability to design clear and comprehensive functional, regression, integration and negative test cases.
• Database Validation: Ability to perform basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and interpreting test reports.
• Agile Testing: Experience testing continuously within Agile sprint delivery.
• Security Testing Support: Understanding of authentication testing, authorisation testing, access control validation, input validation and security regression testing.
• Defect Management: Experience with defect tracking tools and test management tools.
