The Google Ads Specialist is responsible for independently managing Google Ads campaigns across multiple formats and accounts. This role requires a working knowledge of paid search strategy, bid and budget management, and performance reporting, with the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Campaign Management: Plan, set up, and manage paid search campaigns end-to-end across relevant ad formats; define audience and targeting strategies aligned to client objectives and budget.
- →Keyword & Audience Strategy: Conduct keyword research and audience analysis; build and refine targeting approaches to improve campaign efficiency and reduce wasted spend.
- →Bid & Budget Optimisation: Manage bids and budgets across active accounts; identify and act on opportunities to improve return on ad spend and cost-per-acquisition performance.
- →Testing & Optimisation: Run structured tests on ad creative, copy, and audience segments; implement findings to continuously improve conversion rates and overall campaign performance.
- →Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, ensure tracking is functioning correctly, and produce regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
~1 min read- Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Google Ads certification is preferred.
- Experience: Around 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, ideally in an agency, outsourcing, or in-house marketing environment.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable working with the Google Ads platform across multiple campaign types; familiar with web analytics and reporting tools; experience with CRM or marketing platforms is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Analytical and data-driven; strong attention to detail; clear communicator for client and stakeholder reporting; self-motivated and able to manage multiple accounts at once.
- Language: Proficient in English (written and spoken). Additional language proficiency is an advantage.
