Two-week rotating schedule:
Weekdays: 5p–3a
Weekends: 8a–8p
Rotation: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary triage nurse for after-hours patient and family calls, assessing needs and coordinating appropriate care
  • Evaluate physical, emotional, social, and spiritual factors impacting patient and family well-being and involve the interdisciplinary team as needed
  • Communicate proactively with attending physicians, team members, and partner agencies to ensure seamless, high-quality care
  • Perform clinical pronouncements of death and provide compassionate support to families
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including care plans, progress notes, and updates

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current RN license in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum two years of professional nursing experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and nursing skills
  • Ability to support families through emotional stress and diverse lifestyles
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
