Summary: Ref #: SM-U-10753 Specialty: Surgical Technologist Job Type: Contract/ Per Diem Location: Tucson, AZ Shifts: Day, Evening, Night (8, 10, or 12 hours) Rate: 40.1 Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred/required Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures Ability to work in fast-paced operating room environments Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills BLS certification may be required Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms and arrange surgical instruments Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies Anticipate surgeon needs during operations Count instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after surgery Prepare patients for surgery and assist with positioning Handle specimens according to policy Clean and restock operating rooms post-procedure
