The Corporate Strategy team works closely with Adobe’s top executives and our three business units (the Creative Cloud, Document Cloud and Experience Cloud) to ensure that the company stays on its fast growth trajectory. The team has played an active role in some of Adobe’s boldest and most strategic decisions. For example, the move to the cloud and the creation of our Customer Experience category. We articulate and activate the company’s future vision to ensure that Adobe stays on a fast growth trajectory. Today, Adobe is at the forefront of digital experiences worldwide. Adobe gives creatives everything they need to design amazing new content, enable global enterprises in their digital transformation and create experience businesses.

Responsibilities

This new leader will join a highly entrepreneurial team, including alumni from

top management consulting firms and professionals in digital media and marketing. We exclusively focus on hacking Adobe’s long-term growth! The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing multiple project teams and managing the relationship with several top executives across the company, and will gradually specialize in one of Adobe’s three clouds (e.g., joining the extended staff of Adobe’s EVP and GM for the Digital Experience business unit). This position provides unparalleled senior executive exposure, and is often the avenue to unique operational and general management roles at Adobe.

  • 6-8+ years of experience at a top management consulting firm or within an equivalent corporate strategy group. This experience must include overseeing complex strategy projects
  • 15+ years of total professional experience with growing levels of responsibility; proven track record of leading transformational change
  • Top undergraduate and Master’s degrees (MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience operating in an enterprise SaaS environment; prior understanding of software industry, digital marketing or digital media highly desired
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while staying focused on the big picture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presence in front of senior executives
  • Creative problem solver with a bias for action
  • Relentless but collaborative – ensuring that debates and discussions not only lead to good outcomes for all involved, but also set a positive tone for cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $200,500 -- $397,250 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $255,500 - $397,250

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
