• AdventHealth StaffFlex nurses are valued team members of AdventHealth who also want the flexibility to work contract assignments at one facility or float within multiple hospitals in 9 states. A perfect fit for individuals who want the freedom to travel but believe in our mission, StaffFlex provides team members the opportunity to work across various units and more!

• Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases.
• Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures.
• Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Conducts field preparation and maintenance.
• Ensures the operating room is sterile.
• Monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures.
• Maintains surgical instruments in an organized manner.
• Assists the team with safe and efficient operating room turnover times.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of technical experience [Required]

• State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR Technician in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] 

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
