What We Offer
~1 min read- Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
- Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
- Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice. Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.
- Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures.
- Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment for each endoscopy procedure.
- Demonstrates competence in the care and accurate handling of specimens. Checks all equipment and instruments needed prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning.
- Assists in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for endoscopy procedures. Maintains an orderly environment and anticipates the needs of the physician during procedures.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the setup of multi-specialty endoscopy procedures. Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates dexterity, knowledge, and safety in the care and handling of endoscopy instrumentation and supplies.
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills. [Required]
- Ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment. [Required]

- Fluent in English Language, speaking, reading, writing. [Required]

- Demonstrated ability to work under stressful conditions. [Required]
- Ability to work irregular hours including call hours. [Required]
- Knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of Gastroenterology. [Required]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
- 1+ work related experience [Preferred]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]
