Schedule:
PRN• Verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills [Required]
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes as necessary, remaining poised during frequent interruptions, and high workload and emergency situations [Required]
• Ability to interact constructively with supervisors, peers, and external customers [Required]
• Ability to follow direction from formal management personnel and informal supervisors (pharmacists) and at times, to work well without direct supervision [Required]
• Ability to identify, follow up, and resolve discrepancies [Required]
• Ability to identify, resolve, and mitigate pharmacy operational or program problems [Required]
• Ability to keep accurate and complete records [Required]
• Knowledge of medical terminology [Required]
• Knowledge and competence in aseptic techniques [Required]
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize work appropriately and assure timely delivery of product to the patient care areas [Required]
• Ability to provide optimal customer service having strong telephone and verbal communication skills [Required]
• Be able to work independently without constant supervision and as a team member [Required]
• Be able to pay close attention to detail and perform repetitive tasks accurately [Required]
• Have strong work ethic [Required]
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively [Required]
• Knowledge and competence in aseptic techniques and chemotherapy product preparation, including hazardous product handling [Preferred]
• Expertise in general hospital pharmacy operations (including medication dispensing and IV compounding) and hospital regulatory compliance [Preferred]
• Expertise with hospital computer systems, pharmacy technology, and pharmacy automation [Preferred]
• Expertise in USP 795, 797, and 800 guidelines [Preferred]
• Expertise using pharmacy informatic solutions and services [Preferred]
Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
• N/A
Work Experience:
• Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience [Preferred]
Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications:
• Pharmacy Intern (PSI) [Required]
• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) [Preferred]
