Conventional Machining - Radiance Operator - 1st Shift

Set-up surface grinders to machine sapphire brackets.

• →Run surface grinders and CNC production machines
• →Inspect parts to make sure they are within specification
• →Read and understand a drawing and machine parts to specification
• →Use of micrometer and optical comparator for inspection
• →Make machine adjustments based on measurements 
• →Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Machining background a plus
• Experience with micrometers a plus
• 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time
