Job Responsibilities:

Perform composite repair, fabrication and modification using hand tools to produce aircraft products.
Works with composites using pre-preg doing wet lay-ups.
Works with resins, carbon fiber and honeycomb materials.
Sands and grinds composite materials while wearing a full body suit.
Correct aircraft discrepancies involving composite repairs.
Bench assembles and installs composite components on aircrafts.
Corrects discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams or other documents as required.
Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints and other applicable technical data to repair, fabricate and modify composite structures.
Uses appropriate stamp to sign off completed work to include manufacturing planning, inspection discrepancy records, product assurance records and appliable program documentation
Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work area
Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace or relevant trade certificates
At least 3 years of relevant working experience
Preferred working experience on aircraft engines/airframe/components
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
Advantage to have experience on commercial or and business aircrafts
Able to commit rotating shift
