What you will be doing:

Implement initiatives to reduce workplace incidents and hazards.
Develop, maintain, and enforce the health and safety system.
Communicate corrective actions and prevention techniques across AGAT’s operations.
Prepare for, conduct, and coordinate COR audits as required.
Manage supporting documentation and records.
Compile statistics and reports for clients and managers.
Manage workers’ compensation claims to reduce claim cost impacts.
Organize and conduct investigations into incidents, including harassment.
Travel to company sites to conduct inspections and support health and safety initiatives.
Provide advice to employees regarding health and safety concerns.
Advocate for continuous improvement in health and safety.
