Job Tittle: Intelligence Analyst (National Security Mission Support) 
Location: Vienna, VA
Clearance: Top Secret/CI poly
Agile Defense is seeking qualified professionals to support national security intelligence and operational analysis missions within a multi-agency federal environment. This work supports critical government efforts focused on identity resolution, threat screening, intelligence analysis, and information sharing across the U.S. national security and law enforcement community.
The mission operates in a fast-paced operational environment supporting national security priorities, with teams working collaboratively across government partners to ensure timely analysis, data integrity, and operational coordination. Support may include intelligence analysis, operational support, program management, and mission coordination activities that contribute to protecting the United States from national security threats. 
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Selected applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
 
Agile Defense is seeking cleared professionals across a variety of roles supporting national security mission operations. 
 
Potential responsibilities may include:
 
  • Apply advanced analytical and evaluative techniques to assess and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of client and partner screening operations, including organizational productivity and program performance; mentor, train, and support quality assurance for more junior personnel. 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws, policies, and regulations that influence program and resource management across interagency screening operations.
  • Conduct in-depth studies and execute projects to develop or refine work methods, organizational structures, administrative processes, and support systems to improve operational outcomes.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and tailor intelligence data to customer requirements using advanced research methods and automated intelligence databases, produce reports and briefings for internal and partner agency use; mentor, train, and support quality assurance for more junior personnel.
  • Effectively communicate complex findings to executive leadership through clear, persuasive oral and written formats, including briefings, reports, charts, and other analytical products 
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in place of a degree
  • Background in intelligence analysis, national security, law enforcement, or related mission environments
  • Experience conducting research and analysis using multiple information systems Familiarity with intelligence processes, analytical methodologies, or operational mission environments
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced mission support environments 
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in mission-focused environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in operational settings 
  • Experience supporting federal law enforcement, intelligence community, or national security missions
  • Experience working in multi-agency environments
  • Familiarity with analytical databases and intelligence research tools
  • Experience working in operational or shift-based mission environments 
  • The employee will work in a climate-controlled office environment performing desk-based duties.
  • This role does not require physical exertion beyond standard office movements and travel is not expected.
