Responsible for the procurement and inventory management of Agilent manufacturing materials, components, equipment and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives.
Coordinates material sourcing for new product introduction (NPI) projects, in collaboration with R&D and Marketing.
Establishes and manages supplier relationships including negotiating contracts and prices, monitoring supplier performance (using TQRDCE) and researching/selecting/analyzing the market supply base.
May manage contract manufacturer (CM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) relationships to ensure best total cost of ownership, availability and inventory optimization.
May be responsible for contributing to or leading process improvement efforts, such as in new product introduction (NPI), resourcing, supply chain improvements, risk mitigation/avoidance, cost reduction and/or quality.
May consider specific regulatory or compliance regulations pertaining to specific categories or products.
May have global responsibility and/or support multiple sites.
Requirements

Post-graduate, certification and/or license may be required.
Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level.
