The CNC Machinist operates CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts according to production specifications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety with minimal supervision.

Follow weekly job schedules and prioritize tasks based on due dates as directed by the supervisor.
Maintain proper oil levels, keep machines and areas clean, inspect for wear or damage, and ensure a safe workspace.
Maintain quality standards during production, complete runs on time, conduct secondary operations, care for and store tools, and package finished parts.
Verify program revisions align with prints, conduct initial and periodic part inspections, and ensure first-piece approval.
Set up jigs, fixtures, tooling, and CNC programs; maintain CNC files and catalogs, and perform initial inspections of setup parts.
Pull and prepare materials as needed, maintain accurate inventory data, and report shortages.
Requirements
~1 min read1+ years of milling experience, including CNC milling.
Proficiency in machine setups with minimal supervision.
Ability to read blueprints and operate inspection equipment.
Knowledge of machining processes and job planning.
Occasionally lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull with 50 lbs of force.
Frequent forward reaching, with occasional carrying of up to 42 lbs.
