We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager for the South Korea market. In this role, you will work directly with key clients and distribution partners to maximize sales volume and gross margin across all flavors and colors product lines. Achieving the territory sales plan is crucial, alongside fostering robust relationships, and providing technical expertise to existing and potential clients.

This role is home based in Seoul and reports to the Sales Director based in China.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and agree the strategic sales direction with management for market segments, product platform, key focus customers and strengthen our local capabilities. 
  • Manage distribution partners, visiting together and ensuring continues business growth, new pipeline development and new wins.  
  • Maintain existing customers and business, meanwhile develop new opportunities in Korean business to ensure sales growth.
  • Identify from customer needs to projects, be clear with business objectives, collaborate with technical, marketing, supply chain and other support teams to win the projects.
  • Understand company offering of solutions and services. Annual selling price review with customer, including price negotiation.
  • Ensure sustainable growth while maintaining both customer satisfaction and in line with company compliance.

 

  • Educational background in food technology or related discipline.
  • Strong technical experience working with food ingredients and used to interacting and supporting clients.
  • No sales experience required if you’ve got the drive to win, and a curious mind.
  • Strong communication, team work sense and motivational ability to drive strong sales performance.
  • Ability to travel and visit customers up to 60% of your time in the Seoul area. 
  • Fluency in English is mandatory to communicate with support teams located in China.
