We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to manage and support the full recruitment lifecycle while contributing to broader HR operations. This role plays a key part in attracting, hiring, and onboarding talent, including graduates and seasonal staff, while ensuring a professional and seamless candidate and employee experience.

 

Main Responsibilities


Recruitment & Selection:

  • Partner with line managers to understand workforce requirements, plan recruitment activities, and ensure hiring aligns with operational and budgetary needs.
  • Develop, refine, and advertise job descriptions across various platforms to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
  • Conduct structured interviews and support hiring managers with selection decisions.
  • Lead and manage graduate recruitment initiatives and early talent pipelines.
  • Coordinate recruitment of seasonal production workers to meet operational timelines.
  • Arrange and oversee candidate assessments such as psychometric testing, background checks, and medicals.
  • Facilitate salary discussions and manage the full employment offer process.
  • Draft and issue employment contracts in line with company policies and labour legislation.

 Onboarding & Induction:

  • Manage onboarding processes, ensuring documentation and system access are completed before start dates.
  • Facilitate Day 1 induction sessions to ensure smooth integration into the organisation.
  • Coordinate and schedule role-specific and departmental induction programmes.
  • Schedule and facilitate Month 1 induction schedules for new employees, including sending reminders, managing attendance, and assisting with queries and changes as needed.
  • Oversee onboarding and integration of graduate employees.
  • Manage part-time and holiday work programmes for current students.
  • Liaise with IT and other departments to ensure employees are equipped from day one.
  • Prepare welcome notes to introduce new employees on their first day.

 HR Systems & Administration:

  • Administer and maintain BambooHR (HRIS), ensuring accurate employee data and records.
  • Generate HR reports and recruitment metrics to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate filing and documentation of recruitment and HR records.
  • Upload global public holidays on BambooHR annually.
  • Review and approve psychometric assessment invoices from the Assessment Centre.

 Ad hoc HR Support & Coordination:

  • Provide HR support to employees and managers, addressing queries and providing guidance.
  • Prepare and issue employment-related documentation.
  • Support Learning & Development initiatives and administer TalentLMS.
  • Assist in maintaining HR policies and contract of employment templates.
  • Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and UIF documentation.
  • Arrange personal psychometric assessment feedback sessions for new employees.

  • Comfortable with routine work but flexible enough to adjust to ad hoc situations.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom/BA degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in Recruitment coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Experience with BambooHR or similar HR systems will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English (speaking and writing).
