JOB SUMMARY:
The production equipment technician apprentice responsible for routine maintenance of our embroidery machines, heat seal presses, digital printers, and laser machines.

COMPENSATION:
$20-25


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • None
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Repair of Cap Frames & other machine attachments.
  • Cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of embroidery machines.
  • PM on all machinery.
  • Daily record keeping of machine tasks performed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Ability to follow verbal directions.
  • Ability to read instructions in English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasks
  • Ability to work with tools and machinery.
  • Skill set to learn how to troubleshoot and repair all equipment
 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms.
  • Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.
  • Ability to move about the facility.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Exposure to moderate noise level.
VISION REQUIREMENT:
 
  • Close and distance vision.
  • Vision to be able to thread a needle.
  • Color vision.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
  • Closed toe footwear required when entering the Production Floor (as needed).
  • Safety Glasses (as needed).

SCHEDULE:
  • 3:30 pm – 12:00 am Monday – Friday with Overtime (during the week) as required.
