The Product & Client Solutions Lead (PCSL) owns the end-to-end success of solutions within an assigned value stream or product domain. They bridge business and technical worlds to guide discovery, development, and delivery of solutions that meet client and market needs. The PCSL acts as a player-coach, facilitating alignment, removing obstacles, and ensuring that the team delivers clear, valuable, and sustainable outcomes.
This role blends strategic product management, client engagement, and project delivery leadership in an environment where MEP Engineering experience and knowledge is required. This role will collaborate with Clients/Stakeholders, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Team members, Client Success Managers, and the Leadership Team, and will directly manage Business Analysts assigned to the Engineering & Field Team Solutions value stream.
- Translate organizational objectives into a clear vision and roadmap for the assigned value stream.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and client impact.
- Balance short-term client deliverables with long-term product evolution and technical integrity.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the domain.
- Apply working knowledge of MEP engineering workflows and pain points to accelerate discovery and reduce translation effort between client and development teams.
- Partner with Client Success Managers to understand client needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, scoping workshops, and solution definition activities.
- Provide subject-matter guidance on how AI2IO solutions can address business challenges.
- Ensure client expectations are aligned with technical reality and delivery capacity.
- Oversee project execution within the team; planning, prioritization, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate across developers, QA, and analysts to deliver on commitments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies as required (sprint reviews, retrospectives, planning).
- Manage risk, dependencies, and scope changes through collaborative decision-making.
- Define acceptance criteria and measure success using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Champion reusable components and standardization across projects and clients.
- Collaborate with QA for release validation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation, playbooks, and knowledge transfer artifacts.
- Model self-management and collaborative decision making.
- Mentor team members in problem solving, communication, and cross-functional skills.
- Contribute to the refinement of AI2IO’s delivery framework and best practices.
- Represent the value stream in cross-team planning and strategy sessions.
- Directly manage Business Analysts assigned to the Engineering & Field Team Solutions value stream.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to Business Analysts to support high-quality discovery, requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder communication, and solution delivery.
- Ensure Business Analysts effectively translate MEP engineering, field, and client workflow needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
- Assign, prioritize, and balance Business Analyst workload across discovery, delivery, testing support, documentation, and client-facing activities.
- Partner with Business Analysts to improve discovery practices, requirement standards, documentation templates, and knowledge transfer processes specific to engineering and field team solutions.
- Help Business Analysts build working context around MEP workflows, Revit usage, BIM coordination, construction documentation, commissioning, and field-related pain points.
- Support the professional growth of Business Analysts by identifying skill gaps, mentoring on best practices, and encouraging cross-functional learning.
- Hold Business Analysts accountable for timely, clear, and complete work products that enable development, QA, client success, and leadership decision-making.
Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years in MEP Design Engineering, Construction Administration, Commissioning, or Construction.
- 2+ years in software, consulting, product management, or solution delivery.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Revit as a user or in a support/QA/training context. Comfort navigating the tool and understanding how MEP teams use it day-to-day is more important than deep technical proficiency.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong business analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean delivery principles.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience managing client expectations and balancing multiple priorities.
- Up to 5%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states
- Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meetings for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.
