About the Role

~1 min read- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Conduct detailed cost assessments and provide accurate project pricing.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and operational risks.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Manage IT projects involving AI technologies, such as generative AI, machine learning, or NLP.
- Ensure AI solutions are integrated effectively into insurance processes (e.g., claims processing, fraud detection, customer service).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, actuaries, data scientists, and business leaders.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Negotiate with vendors and external partners to secure necessary resources and services.
- Manage internal and external project teams to ensure alignment and productivity.
- Identify opportunities to optimize project management processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on the insurance industry.
- Proven experience in managing AI-related IT projects.
- Strong background in budget estimation, cost analysis, and project pricing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with AI technologies and their application in insurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance IT systems, such as policy administration, claims management, and underwriting systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
