The Armstrong Indiana Clarion Drug & Alcohol Commission is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Indiana County Recovery Center. This position is responsible for supporting staff and volunteers, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring recovery support services are being delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the ICRC
- Manage and support all staff and volunteers
- Create a welcoming, safe, and recovery-focused environment
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
- Develop peer leadership and mentorship opportunities
- Manage scheduling for staff, volunteers, meetings, and trainings
- Maintain membership process and accurate records
- Organize and maintain files for staff, volunteers, and members
- Coordinate events and recovery-focused activities
- Ensure facility cleanliness and safety
- Provide direct recovery support services (life skills, mentoring)
- Assist with reports, policies, and program goals
- Conduct outreach with community partners
- Complete other duties as assigned by CRS Supervisor and the Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification required or be able to obtain within 1 year of hire
- 18 months of continuous recovery from a Substance Use Disorder
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience supervising staff or any related experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of community resources
- Experience with outreach and community engagement
- Experience with scheduling and program coordination
- Leadership experience in a team-based environment
