Expediting Specialist

Within Air Products’ technology group, Membrane Solutions, we are currently due to increased workload, seeking an Expediting Specialist. The position will be based at Air Products’ offices in Kristiansand, Norway.

The position is responsible for follow-up and coordination of Sales Orders from order entry to completed delivery, in close collaboration with GSS, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics.

As an Expediting Specialist, you will have overall responsibility for the follow-up and coordination of deliveries related to sales orders:

• →Follow up Sales Orders until Outbound Delivery (OD) has been executed and final delivery is completed
• →Coordinate activities between GSS, warehouse, logistics, and transportation.
• →Ensure that deliveries are created, picked, packed, and PGI posted in accordance with confirmed orders and customer commitments.
• →Monitor and handle deviations in the delivery process (e.g. missing stock, blocked deliveries, delays).
• →Escalate critical orders and contribute to prioritization during periods of high workload.
• →Contribute to improvement and standardization of Sales Order and delivery processes.
• →Work closely with Expeditor, Buyers, and Material Coordinator to ensure strong alignment between inbound and outbound material flows.
• →The position will also serve as a holiday replacement for the Expeditor and contribute to continuity in the department’s delivery follow-up.

• Experience from sales support, order management, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Sales Order processes in SAP.
• Experience coordinating across multiple functions (sales, warehouse, logistics).
• Structured, solution-oriented, and confident in the role as a coordinator/escalation point.
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
