We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Application Analyst to join our global Engineering, Design and Construction Solutions team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career supporting industry-leading engineering, design and construction applications used across projects around the world. Working alongside experienced Application Analysts and technical specialists, you will gain hands-on experience in application support, system administration, testing, troubleshooting and digital engineering technologies.
As part of a global team, you will help deliver reliable application services to our engineering, design and construction communities while developing valuable technical, analytical and business skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Immediate Joiner Preferred:
As a Junior Application Analyst, you will:
- Develop expertise in a range of engineering, design and construction applications and their supporting technologies.
- Work alongside senior analysts to provide application support and effective solutions to business users.
- Participate in the installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of applications, servers and databases.
- Assist with incident investigation, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Support application upgrades, software deployments, testing activities and system enhancements.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure applications meet functional, performance and reliability requirements.
- Create and maintain application documentation, knowledge articles, user guides and support procedures.
- Contribute to communications, coordination, documentation and the delivery of small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor application performance and assist in maintaining service reliability while meeting agreed service level agreements.
- Collaborate with business users, vendors and technical teams across multiple regions and disciplines.
- Build strong working relationships with engineering, construction and technology stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging engineering technologies, industry trends and best practices.
As a Smart 3D Application Analyst, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A strong academic record and a genuine interest in technology and digital engineering solutions.
- Knowledge or familiarity with engineering, design or construction software through coursework, internships, university projects or personal learning.
- An understanding of engineering workflows and business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a desire to deliver high-quality support and service.
- The ability to prioritise competing activities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within global and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to learning, continuous improvement and professional development.
- Basic knowledge of databases, SQL or data analysis concepts would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure would be beneficial.
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, C# or VB.NET would be advantageous but is not required.
