Primary Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all day-to-day HR aspects for the project.
- Preparing and maintaining clean HR files for all staff including employee contracts, CVs, certificates, etc;
- Evaluates projects for conformance to the overall goals and objectives of the Company
- Evaluates project status and resource utilization in line with established fixed timelines
- Recruiting and maintaining a successful and satisfied workforce
- Liaising with head office to implement all new procedures
- Conducting regular performance reviews for all staff and ensuring review schedule is met
- Assignment of mentors and buddies to new staff
- Liaising with GVT and official bodies as required
- Ensuring staff have a relevant medical prior to entering service.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Conducting new employee orientation and inductions
- Keeping employee training records up to date
- Attending disciplinary meetings and ensuring paper work is generated and signed / filed in employee’s files as per accountability model.
- Drafting employee improvement plans
- Taking best practice from other Alistair locations and implementing in Mozambique
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Preferable degree – field ideally relevant to our line of business
- Self-motivated and multi-tasker
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Experience running similar projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Fully proficient on Excel and Word;

Safety:
- Ensuring stock levels of PPE are always kept up to date
- Leading by example a safe and compliant management style
- Always wearing PPE in relevant work places
- Ensuring all staff are orientated and inducted.
