We are seeking Associate Scientists, with a passion for innovation to join R&D team in Hangzhou City (China) to augment our novel biomarker detection and quantitation capability. You will be working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and will be a part of a rapidly growing company to make a big impact on life science research and early disease diagnosis.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement activities by working closely with vendors and the internal team.
  • Design, optimize and execute experiments for new biomarker detection.
  • Maintain reagent libraries; maintain accurate records of work performed, including reagents, methodology, and results. Utilize records and calculate, graph, and compile data.
  • Examine the impacts of multiple variables on assay performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for product and process improvement.
  • Management and regular maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years hands on experience running and developing immunoassays, such as ELISA, as well as experience generating, analyzing, and reviewing assay data.
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, conscientiousness, and accountability.
  • Data management skills are highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to work within internal team and vendors.
  • Self-motivation with a positive “can do” attitude, attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.
