Global Material Master Data Steward will be responsible for establishing data governance policies and managing the creation, updating, and maintenance of master data records across the supply chain.

  • Primary responsibilities consist of conducting Master Data Management (MDM) operations per established global strategy across the Alcon division for assigned Franchise. 

  • MDM operations will consist of maintaining Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master within both SAP system and applicable legacy ERP environments, inclusive of applicable Manufacturing Master Data being activated as part of IRIS Manufacturing deployments.

  • Perform Master Data Management daily operations and central governance of ERP Material data to ensure high degree of data accuracy, consistency and completeness. 

  • The primary focus is to facilitate the Material Master set-up and changes in accordance with department standards and business rules during integration activities, global and regional product launches and all subsequent phases of the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in a similar position

  • SAP Material Master, Excel skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Science/Engineering.  Master’s Degree preferred,

  • Experience with Data Analysis and Data Analytics

  • Knowledge of automation processes and tools (VBA, Power Automate, Winshuttle) will be considered an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent English
