You will be an essential member of a team of qualified teachers who are talented, fun, and genuinely enthusiastic about child development and learning. You must be comfortable working with groups of children ranging from 5 years of age to 12 years of age. We offer competitive pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour (depending on experience and credentials) in addition to an industry-leading benefits package, underscoring our commitment to attracting and retaining top-quality educators and supporting staff members.

Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Driving a 14-passenger school bus.
- →Potential Candidate should have previous driving experience and be comfortable with groups of children (5 years of age - 12 years of age).
- →Assist in documentation for attendance and transportation services provided.
- →Bus inspections, maintaining scheduled bus/van maintenance, and bus cleaning is required daily.
- →Assist in delivering learning experiences tailored to the developmental needs of your students.
- →Assist with maintaining schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest and playtime.
- →Conducting daily duties such as serving meals, toileting/changing pull ups, recording daily reports/attendance, covers breaks, fill in during staff absence, engage in play and other daily activities.
- →Maintain a healthy and safe environment for all children.
- →Attend and participate in Center-provided meetings and trainings to comply with state regulations for child care professionals.
- →Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- →Possession of a CDA, AA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus, but not required for this position
- →At least one year of child care experience working in a licensed ODJFS child care program.
- →Experience teaching and working with children between the ages of 5 years and 12 years.
- →A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- →Comfortable driving a 14-passenger bus.
- →Experience driving a school bus or similar vehicle preferred.
- →Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to transporting children.
- →Seasonal requirements would include field trips and some supervision support while there.
- →Current physical and ability to pass BCI/FBI background check.
- →Basic language, written, and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation.
- →Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- →Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff.
- →Reliable, compassionate, and able to create a warm, nurturing and responsive environment for children and families.
- →Must be dependable and maintain a good work record as to punctuality and daily attendance.
- →Applicants must possess current legal authorization to work in the United States.

- →Must be able to work 8:15AM - 5:15PM
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stand, and sit on child-sized furniture or on the floor for extended periods.
- Ability to repetitively lift and move children, with a weight capacity of up to 50lbs.
- Comfort working in a moderate to noisy environment.
- Preparedness to assist children in emergency situations.
- Physical ability to stay within arm's reach of children, ensuring proximity and safety.
- Participation in safety drills, adhering to guidelines including relocating children, which may involve moving cribs with multiple children to designated safe areas.
- Endurance to withstand varying outdoor conditions and temperatures for prolonged durations throughout all seasons.
