Shop Foreman

Job Responsibilities for Shop Foreman: Provide service to customers by overseeing the technicians accurately diagnosing and/or repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, and equipment using special tools and equipment according to Technical Manual procedures Provide timely and accurate technical support/information to service office & customers Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work duties Communicate problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers, if requested Oversee tagging of warranty parts and write warranty stories Test drive repaired vehicles Assist technicians with troubleshooting, malfunctions on equipment, and repairs Use diagnostic software to find and repair the issue Distribute repair orders fairly and evenly Manage shop workflow Review and adjust repair estimates Assist with other projects as needed Required Skills for Shop Foreman: 3+ years of experience in a diesel truck shop 3+ years in a leadership role or service writer role Customer service and leadership qualities Driver’s License required, CDL a plus Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic applications
