A little more on this exciting opportunity:
We are looking for a Roastery Assistant to support the end-to-end coffee production process and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the roastery. This role is responsible for assisting with product output, ensuring order accuracy, managing workload effectively, and supporting customer enquiries and delivery requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus, a proactive approach to work, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and communication are essential, along with a willingness to take initiative and support the wider team where needed.
About You:
- Enjoys an active role and is comfortable supporting a range of tasks
- Previous warehouse, production, or logistics experience preferred, but not essential
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg safely
- Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Holds a full, clean driver’s licence
- Forklift certification is advantageous, but not essential
This is a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week, with scheduled workdays on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
A full, clean driver’s licence is required for this role. Due to the physical nature of the position, a good level of fitness is essential, as the role involves regular lifting and handling of coffee sacks and other production-related materials.
