Job Responsibilities:

Proposal & Bid Preparation

  • Research and identify potential bid opportunities within the moving, relocation, and logistics sectors.

  • Review and analyze bid documents to fully understand client needs, scope, and evaluation criteria.

  • Manage the complete proposal lifecycle—from opportunity identification through drafting, revisions, submission, and follow-up.

  • Develop, organize, and maintain a proposal library including templates, past submissions, and supporting materials.

Content Development & Technical Writing

  • Write, edit, and proofread clear, concise, and persuasive proposal responses tailored to each opportunity.

  • Produce technical content that accurately describes company processes, capabilities, equipment, methodologies, and project approaches.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), operations personnel, and management to gather required technical and pricing information.

  • Develop strong value propositions and differentiators that position All Service Moving competitively.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure every submission meets all client requirements, instructions, and formatting guidelines.

  • Conduct thorough quality reviews for accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to submission.

  • Integrate feedback from debriefs and lessons learned into future proposals to strengthen overall proposal quality.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Track industry trends, changing market conditions, and client procurement behaviors to inform proposal strategy.

  • Review competitor offerings and past awards to identify strategic advantages and opportunities for improvement.

Claims & Legal Support (Document Department)

  • Track and monitor active vehicle accident claims and related litigation timelines.

  • Draft statements, reports, summaries, and other required documentation in support of the Claims Department.

  • Ensure deadlines are met and documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with legal and insurance standards.

Relationship Management

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate document content.

  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding questions, clarifications, and required follow-up documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in all written and technical work.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.

  • Advanced project management, organizational, and time-management capabilities.

  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn company processes, technical details, and industry-specific terminology.

  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, especially when handling sensitive legal or claims-related documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. Associate degree will be accepted.

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in proposal writing, bid development, technical writing, or a related field, preferably within the moving, logistics, or transportation industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Zoom/Teams) and other office software.

  • Experience with bid management software is a plus.
