Chief Accountant

ACG_3516_JOB Our client is a Digital Media & Influencer Marketing company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Accounting Management Oversee daily operational work of segment accountants. Monitor, control, and ensure proper balancing of cash flow. Examine payment terms within contracts signed with business partners. Check vouchers and accounting entries in the system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS). Manage and supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable, reviewing aging reports to ensure correctness and agreement compliance. Verify the allocation of expenses and accrued costs to ensure accuracy and completeness. Design and implement procedures to regulate and control accounting operations. Manage Fixed Assets & Inventory Oversee and control inventory, fixed assets, tools, and supplies. Conduct periodic physical stocktaking of fixed assets on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Work closely with other departments to resolve related issues effectively. Establish and improve procedures for managing inventory and fixed assets. Reports Monitor, support, and review financial statements prepared by the Chief Accountant and other management reports to ensure timely submission. Review and take full responsibility for tax filings Carry out other ad hoc tasks assigned by the direct manager. Training and Development Support Keep up to date with tax regulations and accounting standards, and provide training for segment accountants. Develop accounting guidelines and reporting templates for management use. Please note that the additional tasks described above are typical of a senior financial management position. Actual responsibilities may differ depending on the company’s scale, industry, and strategic direction. Requirements Solid knowledge and practical experience in consolidation accounting under VAS. Proven experience managing a team of at least 5 members. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong overall computer skills. Strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, with a proactive attitude toward learning and sharing new approaches. Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, with integrity, diligence, honesty, and accountability. Strong analytical thinking, leadership experience, self-motivation, integrity, and a positive mindset. Experience in e-commerce and digital media industries is an advantage.
