We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Audio Visual Engineer to join our Corporate Technology team, based at our New York City Headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and day-to-day support of AV and conferencing technology across our global office footprint. You will be a critical partner in delivering a seamless meeting and event experience for our employees and executive leadership, including high-visibility company-wide Town Hall events.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the end-to-end support lifecycle for Zoom Rooms across all global office locations, including hardware provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- →Administer and support Zoom Webinar production for company-wide and external-facing events, including pre-event testing, live A/V operations, and post-event debrief.
- →Partner with Facilities and IT leadership to design, deploy, and refresh conference room AV systems including displays, cameras, speakers, microphones, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Neat Pad).
- →Serve as the primary AV resource for all hands meetings, Town Halls, and executive broadcasts, managing the full production workflow from setup through teardown.
- →Maintain a proactive monitoring and alerting posture for AV room health, escalating and resolving issues before they impact meetings.
- →Document AV standards, configurations, room guides, and runbooks as part of the Secure IT knowledge base.
- →Evaluate and recommend new AV technologies, equipment, and vendors to continuously elevate the AlphaSense meeting experience.
- →Support remote and APAC office locations by establishing scalable standards, shipping equipment, and providing remote guidance to local teams.
- →Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and People teams on office buildouts, moves, and new room deployments.
Requirements
~1 min read- 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying and supporting Zoom Rooms in a corporate enterprise environment.
- Deep proficiency with the Zoom platform including Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Webinars — including admin console management and troubleshooting.
- Experience producing and operating Zoom Webinars for audiences of 100+ participants, including host controls, polling, Q&A, and panelist management.
- Solid understanding of AV signal flow, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, multicast), and how they intersect in a conference room environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot AV and conferencing issues under pressure in a live meeting or event context.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset when supporting executives and employees.
- Ability to work on-site at our NYC HQ with occasional travel to other office locations.
Requirements
~1 min readThe following experience is a strong plus and will differentiate candidates for this role:
- Experience operating professional audio mixing consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer, Allen & Heath) in a live event or broadcast context.
- Hands-on experience with high-end video capture and recording equipment, including professional cameras (PTZ or DSLR/mirrorless), capture cards, and switchers (e.g., Blackmagic ATEM, Roland).
- Familiarity with streaming production tools such as OBS, Telestream Wirecast, or vMix.
- Experience supporting executive Town Hall events end-to-end, including stage AV, presenter confidence monitors, and hybrid audience management.
- Knowledge of digital signal processors (DSPs) such as Biamp or QSC for audio tuning and room acoustics.
- Certifications in Zoom (ZCS), CTS (Infocomm), or equivalent AV industry credentials.
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management for AV ticket tracking and change management.
