Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner – Fulltime, Parttime, Contract Location: Various Locations within Greater Vancouver Area Schedule: TBD, based on business requirements. Minimum Rate: $17.85 and up, TBD   About the Role: We’re looking for reliable, conscientious individuals with who take pride in shiny clean spaces and to support our client by providing an essential service – keeping their workforce safe.  If you understand the importance of Health & Safety, sanitation and cleanliness, we want to hear from you.    What You Will Be Doing: Disinfecting all high touch point areas Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc. Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass Scrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry Ability to use and operate industrial and or heavy cleaning machines and equipment; some are but not limited to: scrubbing and sweeping machines, carpet extractors, leaf blowers, pressure washers etc. Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested by clients Additional tasks assigned by Manager Exterior cleaning maybe required. Valid Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract maybe required.   You have:   Experience with heavy cleaning machinery is preferred Motivation and a willingness to work + learn Strong time management skills to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine Be eligible to obtain applicable security clearance(s) Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset     We offer: Opportunities for growth & employee development A flexible and positive team environment   About Alpine:  Alpine has grown to become one of Canada’s leading janitorial and building maintenance service providers to over 2000 distinct facilities across Canada.
