Under the direction of owners Mike & Sheri Williams, AKSC has established an organization that sees its purpose as helping children to learn strong VALUES with which they will set worthy GOALS and for which we must train them in the SKILLS needed to achieve those goals. Sport training is the tool we use to achieve that purpose.

American Kids Sports Center, located in Bakersfield, California, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Competitive Team Coach to join our dynamic team. As a leading sports center in the region, we are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their athletic goals.
- Pre-Team, Compulsory & Xcel program coach
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct regular team practices, focusing on skill development, technique refinement, and routine preparation.
- →Design and implement training programs that align with individual athlete needs and team objectives.
- →Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about team activities, progress, and performance expectations.
- →Uphold the highest standards of safety, adhering to all relevant guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum of 1 years experience
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and routines across various levels.
- Proven track record of developing athletes and achieving competitive success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with athletes, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to spot beginning to intermediate level skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in gymnastics coaching.
- USAG certification is required.
- Required to be 18+ years of age.
