Yardhand / Sales Assistant VC

American Stone is hiring a full-time Yardhand / Sales Assistant to support customers, assist with yard operations, and help drive sales through walk-in customer interactions.

• →Assist walk-in customers and help answer product questions
• →Load customer vehicles and assist with order fulfillment
• →Support yard organization, cleanliness, and product stocking
• →Operate forklifts and equipment safely after training
• →Assist with sales support and upsell opportunities
• →Coordinate with the sales team and yard staff to fulfill customer needs
• →Maintain organized work areas and customer service standards
• →Help customers locate products and materials throughout the yard
• →Assist with general maintenance and cleanup tasks
• →Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
• Ability to lift, move, and load materials safely
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (email, Google Docs, Microsoft Word)

• Candidates must be willing to provide professional references during the hiring process
• Experience in warehouse, yard, retail, landscaping, construction, or customer service roles
• Forklift or equipment experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with building materials, tools, or outdoor work environments
• Sales or upselling experience is a plus
• Spanish is a plus

Business hours (Monday to Saturday; schedule may vary based on business needs)
