Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and purchase electrical components, hardware, and materials from approved suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and supply chain performance.
Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications.
Identify and qualify new suppliers to mitigate risk and support cost-reduction initiatives.
Maintain accurate purchasing data, supplier records, and material requirements in ERP/MRP systems.
Monitor market trends, lead times, and cost drivers for electrical and electronic components.
Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or shortages that may impact production schedules.
Support inventory management strategies to balance cost efficiency with material availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience Requirements
Working on Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Ability to negotiate.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) a plus.
Knowledge of electrical components, connectors, and cable assemblies a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Results-oriented with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Continuous improvement mindset.
