Noble Gas Systems is an innovative manufacturing company specializing in the design, development, and production of comfortable high-pressure compressed gas storage and delivery systems. Our technology supports applications across energy, transportation, and advanced industrial markets. 

As we continue to scale, we are focused on strengthening our infrastructure, improving operational execution, and building a leadership team that can support long-term growth. 

We are seeking a hands-on, operationally driven CFO who also functions as an Integrator—someone who can connect strategy to execution, ensure accountability, and drive results across the organization. 

This individual will partner closely with the Leadership team to align priorities, manage day-to-day execution, and ensure the business runs effectively. The role requires a balance of financial leadership, operational oversight, and strong cross-functional coordination. 

The ideal candidate thrives in a small, scaling environment, is highly accountable, and is comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and a hands-on builder. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management 
  • Develop financial strategies aligned with company growth, manufacturing scale, and capital needs 
  • Build scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting processes 
  • Provide clear, actionable financial insights to support business decisions 
  • Manage banking relationships, capital planning, and financing activities 
  • Partner with the CEO to translate vision into execution and ensure alignment across the organization 
  • Drive traction by ensuring priorities, goals, and initiatives are executed on time 
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across departments, including manufacturing, operations, and financial performance 
  • Lead cross-functional coordination, ensuring teams are aligned and working effectively together 
  • Identify and resolve issues quickly, removing obstacles to execution 
  • Drive accountability across the leadership team and ensure follow-through 
  • Improve operational processes and build infrastructure to support scalability 
  • Support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and long-term business decisions 
  • Translate financial and operational data into clear business insights and actions 
  • Support investor readiness, board reporting, and strategic partnerships as applicable 
  • Build and lead the finance function as the company grows 
  • Oversee external partners (e.g., CPA firms, IT, purchasing) 
  • Implement systems, tools, and processes that support a scaling manufacturing organization 
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a small to mid-sized, scaling company 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field 
  • Strong experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments (preferred) 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across both finance and operations (COO or Integrator experience strongly preferred) 
  • Experience building structure, processes, and systems in a growing organization 
  • Hands-on experience with financial systems, cost accounting, and operational metrics 
  • Ability to drive execution and ensure accountability 
  • Excellent at connecting people, processes, and priorities 
  • Comfortable managing day-to-day business operations 
  • Strong business and operational acumen 
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and build structure from the ground up 
  • Collaborative, practical, and solutions-oriented 
  • High ownership and follow-through 

Requirements

  • Experience in energy, alternative fuels, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing 
  • Experience in capital-intensive or hardware-based businesses 
  • Familiarity with EOS or similar operating systems 
  • Experience with fundraising, investor relations, or M&A 
  • ERP implementation or system optimization experience
