Software Engineering Co-Op

This position will provide support to the software engineering group, which includes design and development of engineering tools and utilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Software design and development
• Software tool development
• Test application development
• Writing software design specifications
• Modification of existing applications Software Testing

EDUCATION:

• Junior or Senior currently pursuing BS or MS program in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A solid understanding of object-oriented design and development with a strong background in C, C++ , Python
• Familiarity with Linux operating system and general Bash scripts.
• Familiarity with IDE’s such as NetBeans
• Exposure to QT is a plus
• Desire to be challenged by complex and routine tasks, problem solving, and decision making Willingness to leam and contribute as part of a team
