Junior AML Analyst

About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior AML Analyst to join our growing Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention.

The successful candidate will support the team in transaction monitoring, screening activities, and administrative tasks, while also assisting the Deputy MLRO in day-to-day compliance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform transaction monitoring to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity
• Conduct customer and transaction screening using internal systems and tools
• Review alerts and escalate cases where necessary in line with AML procedures
• Provide day-to-day support to the Deputy MLRO, including preparation of documentation and follow-ups
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
• Support administrative tasks related to AML processes and reporting
• Follow internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and resolve queries
  
  
  

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good organisational and time management abilities
• Basic understanding of AML principles (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
