About the Role
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer – Marketing & Communications to join our marketing and communications team and help bring the ANS brand to life across digital, print, and social channels. You’ll work closely with and receive creative direction from the Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing and execute design work within an established brand system. This is a role for someone who can take direction and run with it, work within defined standards, and help the team produce more and better work.
You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications and work within a small, collaborative team. Expect a mix of defined projects and incoming requests. Direction and priorities will be set for you - your job will be to execute them well, ask smart questions, and help the team move faster without sacrificing quality. There’s room to grow here as the function grows.
We use technology intentionally, including AI tools, to work smarter and produce better work. We expect this person to be curious about emerging tools, willing to incorporate them where they add value, and thoughtful about how they’re used in accordance with ANS policies.

Design LinkedIn graphics and content that align with ANS brand standards and narrative direction

Assist in the production and upkeep of marketing collateral, including one-pagers and supporting materials for internal and external use

Support employee spotlight formatting and layout, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with brand voice

Create assets for our intranet, The Pulse, such as thumbnails, banners, and supporting visuals

Help maintain visual consistency across ANS materials and flag inconsistencies against established brand standards

Work within established design systems while identifying opportunities to refine and elevate them

Design or assist with conference and event collateral such as signage, print materials, and social graphics

Support the cleanup and visual enhancement of presentation decks

Assist with assembling and organizing assets for high-priority marketing initiatives

Assist with additional marketing and communications projects as the team’s needs evolve

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field; or equivalent demonstrated experience

A portfolio that shows range: digital, print, and brand-driven work

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma
-
Comfort working in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
-
Understanding of how design supports communication — not just how things look, but how they work together

Ability to take direction and execute without needing constant check-ins, while knowing when to ask questions

3-5 years of professional design experience

Light video editing or motion graphics experience (After Effects, Premiere)

Experience with and comfort in taking photography

Experience in a B2B, engineering, or professional services environment

Familiarity with intranet or internal communications design
