Localization Specialist - German (Contract)

At CreatorGlobal, we set the industry standard for dubbing quality, with a blend of traditional and innovative approaches.

We are in the process of expanding our language coverage, and are looking for someone with a background in audiovisual translation in the English to German pair.

As a Localization Specialist you'll be an integral part of our creative team, driving the localization process of English videos into your native language.

• →Optimize translations and adapt for dubbing and localization from the English source video
• →Select and refine voice casts to ensure they match the English source video
• →Utilize new technologies to enhance dubbed content
• →Manage first-hand the production and quality control of dubbed content
• →Preliminary post-editing of clips to improve synchronization and combining inputs (in collaboration with editing team)

• C1+ English
• Native German
• Experience with video-editing and audio-editing tools, preferably in dubbing or voiceover production
• A scrappy self-starter with an owner-mindset 
• Comfortable working with emerging production tools and voice technologies
• Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

• 1-3 years translation and or adaptation for dubbing
• Experience working in either localization, production and/or post production
