We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.
About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for an experienced, strategic People Business Partner to join our team to shape and scale our people strategy. This role will directly influence leadership, drive cultural impact, and enhance operational excellence across the company. As a trusted advisor, you will lead key initiatives and support managers and employees to build a strong, high-performing organization.
Own and drive key People functions for your client groups, including manager enablement (talent management, coaching, training), business strategy alignment (workforce planning, change management, analytics), people program development (performance management, compensation, succession planning), and employee relations (PIPs, investigations, terminations, compliance).
Use periodic evaluations and frequent touchpoints to identify individual, team, and manager development needs, make recommendations, and partner closely with managers to implement strategies that measurably improve performance, engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Provide guidance and leadership in the following areas: total rewards, leveling, employee engagement, culture development, organizational design, change management, employee communications, and people development.
Own the entire employee lifecycle for performance management, development, and advancement.
Execute on other People or general operations responsibilities as required by the People team on an ad hoc basis.
5+ years of experience in a progressive HR, People Operations, or Generalist role within a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience navigating Workday, running workflows, and maintaining clean data.
Solid understanding of core HR procedures, documentation standards, and multi-country European HR practices.
Experience handling employee relations, manager coaching, or supporting performance review cycles.
Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a "can-do" attitude to identify gaps and build processes proactively.
Hands-on operational experience facilitating people programs and a thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret data.
Native-level German and fluency in English are required (additional European languages are a plus).
Nice to Have

Experience scaling teams in a high-growth tech company through an IPO.
Experience partnering with founders to shape people strategies that drive performance, engagement, and organizational success.
Experience working in an international company, with a preference for experience in Germany, UK and Sweden.
