Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business quality assurance of automation solutions.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with quality standards.
Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues and validate fixes.
Continuously monitor implemented solutions for optimal performance and opportunities for continuous improvement; help resolve business-related issues as they arise.
Support change management and business readiness for new technology implementations by validating solution quality and user experience.
Work within defined Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) governance processes.
Proven experience analyzing and documenting business processes at both detailed and strategic levels.
Ability to identify, evaluate, and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Skilled in facilitating requirements workshops, impact analysis, and process documentation changes.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools, ensuring solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
Strong interpersonal skills for building collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including business SMEs, developers, and process owners.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience facilitating requirements walk-throughs, sign-offs, and change management activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Flow, Forms, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including working within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) governance.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on measurable outcomes (ROI, error reduction, data quality, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to monitor implemented solutions for performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Adaptive and innovative, with a continuous learning and growth mindset.
Willingness to coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of improvement.
Foundational and working knowledge of the accounting industry, including tax and audit.
Foundational knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma) and process documentation standards (e.g., BPMN).
Experience with data analysis leveraging database principles (Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, etc.) is a major plus.
Prior consulting experience.
