Schools in the Archdiocese of New York contract with the NYC Public Schools to offer 3K and 4K in over 30 schools in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island.  Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate program where children will enjoy a variety of planned experiences anchored in a playful approach to focused learning.  We believe that our programs will provide the best foundation for future learning for the young children and families we serve. Programs are located in elementary school buildings as part of the greater school community.  We are committed to offering a safe, structured, and personalized learning environment for all of the students entrusted to our care.

The Office of Early Childhood of the Archdiocese of New York (OEC) seeks to expand the Early Childhood team of Instructional Specialists who support the 3K and 4K programs in our Staten Island region.

The Early Childhood Instructional Specialist (ECIS) collaborates with school building and regional leaders, teachers, the team of Early Childhood Social Workers (ECSW), and the NYC Department of Education's Division of Early Childhood to provide the highest quality of early childhood programming to New York City's youngest learners.
