Responsibilities
~1 min read- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, front office, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to promote efficiency.
- Track key performance metrics such as patient volume and scheduling utilization.
- Serve as liaison between staff, providers, patients, and external stakeholders.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Lead regular team meetings and promote open communication and problem-solving.
- Manage budgets, payroll, billing, insurance claims, and collections.
- Review financial reports, monitor performance, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure timely credentialing and payer contract management.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and other state/federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate audits or compliance reviews.
- Implement risk management strategies to enhance patient safety and minimize liability.
- Foster a culture of service excellence and patient-centered care.
- Respond to escalated patient concerns professionally and promptly.
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction through feedback initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to guide strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Lead marketing, community outreach, and referral development efforts.
- Identify new technologies and process improvements that enhance care and efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Experience: Prior healthcare management experience required; behavioral health preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance reimbursement, compliance regulations, and human resources.
- Proficiency in EHR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full-time, primarily on-site role in a professional office environment.
- Standard office hours with occasional extended hours as needed.
- Frequent interaction with staff, providers, and external partners.
- Occasional travel for meetings, outreach, or training.
