As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will provide comprehensive athletic training services in line with NATA standards, including injury prevention, emergency care, on-site evaluation, rehabilitation, and follow-up. You'll be an essential link between athletes, families, coaches, and physicians to support safe athletic participation.


Responsibilities

  • Provide prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

  • Offer on-site coverage for practices, games, and special events-may include evening, weekend, or travel.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities.

  • Apply braces, tapes, and protective equipment as needed.

  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of injuries and treatments.

  • Coordinate care and follow-up appointments with physicians and rehab staff.

  • Educate athletes and families on post-injury care, concussion protocols, and return-to-play processes.

  • Assist with onboarding of new athletic training contracts and data collection for program growth.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required.

  • National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) certification required.

  • 1-2 years of athletic training experience preferred.

  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.


  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs independently and assist with heavier loads.

  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk distances, and carry medical supplies/equipment.

  • Exposure Category I: Regular contact with athletes; potential exposure to blood/body fluids.
