High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High level of experience with mail processing equipment including how to start, setup, operate, train, adjust and understand mailing requirements, have knowledge of mailing regulations and safety protocols- including safe use of equipment and chemicals.
Computer skills are sufficient to interface with various mail equipment and files.
Strong Verbal and written communications to follow job instructions, SOP’s and safety rules; effectively communicate with KP mail team members, employees and customers.
Reviews all work carefully for completeness and accuracy before signing off and passing through; pays close attention to details.
Identifies problems and notifies appropriate personnel and manager in a timely manner.
Strong Interpersonal skills to get along and work effectively with others.
Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machine issues and take appropriate actions to get machine back online.
Ability to lead and work in a team environment; helps and supports all employees; shares expertise with others.
