About the Role
~1 min readThe front desk is where a guest's experience begins and ends. As a Guest Service Agent, your job is to make sure that experience feels easy, personal, and genuinely welcoming; from the moment someone walks in, to the moment they check out. This is a hands-on, people-facing role. You'll manage the day-to-day flow of arrivals and departures, handle reservations, answer questions about the city, and take care of guest needs as they come up.
Responsibilities

- →Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing
- →Answer questions about the property and offer genuine local recommendations
- →Coordinate with other departments to follow through on guest requests
- →Address concerns promptly and with care
- →Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
- →Uphold all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring the security and privacy of our guests
- →Embody the spirit of Shenandoah Mansions through thoughtful service and consistent reliability
- →Keep the front desk running smoothly across every shift
- →Other duties as assigned
- Part-time, flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous front desk or customer-facing experience preferred
- Familiarity with property management systems a plus
