Salary: Up to £26,800 per annum

Hours:37.5 hours per week, shift pattern, no weekends

Your Role:

· You will be responsible for exercising duty of care to all swimming pool users, ensuring compliance with health, safety and Royal Life Saving Society regulations.

· You will be acting as a qualified lifeguard during all military training pool sessions at Tidworth Leisure Centre and Bulford Camp.

· You will be maintaining constant supervision of pool users, carrying out rescues, resuscitation and first aid where required.

· You will be ensuring pool equipment, lane ropes, signage and starting blocks are correctly set up, maintained and stored.

· You will be supporting the cleanliness, security and presentation of poolside and associated facilities.

· You are assisting the Sports and Leisure Manager with inspections, equipment checks and general facility support when required.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications – You will hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and be committed to maintaining this through regular training.

Experience – You will be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate a customer-focused approach and carry out duties in an organised and professional manner.

Skills – You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently when required and a proactive, flexible and safety-first approach.
