OtherFull Stack Web Developer
ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team supporting a mission-critical application for NASA’s Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program.
This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic developer who wants to build real-world web applications, modern interactive dashboards, and cloud integrations in support of NASA’s mission.
Location: Washington, DC - Hybrid (1 day/week on-site at NASA HQ, 4 days remote)
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain custom web-based applications, interactive dashboards, financial systems, and process management platforms.
Develop modern front-end interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, incorporating data visualization and dashboarding plugins.
Maintain and develop backend business logic, application services, and integrations with modern AWS APIs and databases.
Design and optimize database queries and data access layers using Microsoft SQL Server.
Produce clear technical documentation including system workflow logic, UI mockups, and API requirements.
Integrate custom-built components with enterprise web platforms and COTS tools.
Test, debug, and refine applications in an Agile environment to ensure reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications
2-4 years of relevant software development experience paired with a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related), equivalent practical experience, or a coding bootcamp certification.
Solid proficiency in core web technologies (JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, CSS3) with experience in Angular, modern JS frameworks, or Adobe ColdFusion.
Foundational understanding of relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server) and experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate directly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust or Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Understanding of RESTful Web Services and basic API integration.
Interest or experience building interactive dashboards and data visualization tools.
Passion for space exploration, finance, or mission-driven public service.
