The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across all areas of Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, HR Operations, Compliance, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement.

 

This role is responsible for coordinating HR processes, maintaining data accuracy, supporting employee lifecycle activities, managing documentation, and ensuring timely completion of HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources and maintain HR inboxes.
  • Maintain HR records, personnel files, and electronic documentation in accordance with company policies and record retention requirements.
  • Prepare HR documents, letters, forms, and employee communications.
  • Assist with HR audits, reporting, data validation, and compliance documentation.

 

  • Coordinate pre-employment paperwork and onboarding documentation.
  • Schedule new hire orientation sessions and onboarding meetings.
  • Partner with IT, Facilities, Payroll, and hiring managers to support onboarding logistics.
  • Assist with employee onboarding check-ins and probationary period tracking.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities including documentation, equipment return tracking, and system access requests.
  • Support exit interview scheduling and data collection.

 

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across recruiting, onboarding, talent programs, learning and development, employee engagement, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Assist with scheduling, communications, documentation, reporting, recordkeeping, and process coordination to support HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for HR operations, benefits, leave administration, employee records, compliance activities, vendor coordination, and HR systems.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, audits, documentation management, employee inquiries, and process tracking to ensure accurate and efficient HR operations.
  • Support special projects, process improvements, and other HR initiatives as assigned.

 

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and other HR technology platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills. 

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of HR, administrative , or related experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions preferred.
  • Experience with HR systems and reporting preferred.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally 

 

$26-$33/hourly is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
